3.6 MW OF HIMOINSA POWER FOR THE MOST SCENIC TRAIN JOURNEY IN CHINA
HIMOINSA takes part in the construction of another breathtaking marvel of the Chinese landscape– the Yunnan-Guangxi High Speed Railway.
Following its 5-year plan for Intelligent Manufacturing China’s high speed railway network is an impressive example of the country’s huge investment in modern infrastructure. Present in the country for over 10 years, HIMOINSA China has successfully contributed numerous infrastructure construction projects in the country, but none as remarkable as this one.
On this occasion, HIMOINSA China was selected to be the power supplier of the Yunnan-Guangxi High Speed Railway, a 710 Km long railway that connects the Southwest and South of China. This path will transport merchandise and as well as passengers on a brand new high speed train that runs through this path known as the most beautiful scenic landscape in China.
The two heavy duty HTW-2295 T5 diesel generators with Mitsubishi engines provided by HIMOINSA, will supply incremental and standby power to this modern transportation infrastructure. They will work specifically for the Control Center that serves as a hub for scheduling and managing all up and downstream traffic in the Yunnan province. The Centre has dual access to the power grid, in addition to a back-up Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) system run by the two generators.Not only will this new railway drive economic prosperity for the region, in line with the One Belt One Road vision, but it will also support safe and efficient transport operations.

Details of filers and engine fuel line
Following technical communication with client and the Design Institute, the technical details came as follows:
1. The use of a remote heat exchanger would ensure utilization of the existing room and the performance of the units.
2. Adding a tail gas purifier on exhaust duct of the generator that guarantees Chinese Government's emission requirements.
3. HIMOINSA's strengths is noise control, noise reduction of this project fulfilled the regulations and client’s requirements.
4. Adding an axial fan in the engine room to ensure sufficient air intake and exhaust as well as temperature control of the engine room .
5. HIMOINSA's genset power distribution solution met the client's demand of cost control and ensuring parallel operation of the generators by supplying two Deep Sea 8610
