This multi-brand tool allows users to view in real time the values and operating conditions of all HIMOINSA generator sets powered by electronic engines, regardless of the engine manufacturer (Yanmar, FPT, Scania, MTU, PSI, Ford).
'Multi-brand tool for certifying the quality of maintenance work'
The 'HIMOINSA diagnostic' software facilitates the reading of fault codes, making it an indispensable tool for certifying the quality of maintenance work. “One of its added values is undoubtedly its capacity to carry out maintenance and repairs on all our generator sets, regardless of the engine manufacturer”, explains Jorge Torres, HIMOINSA's After Sales Director, who adds that this tool that "we are making available to our customers and technical services not only streamlines the equipment repair process by making it possible to access detailed technical information, images, graphics and diagrams for whatever model you are diagnosing, but it also regenerates the after-treatment systems in S5 generator sets (StageV) .”
HIMOINSA Diagnostic helps users to identify the failure code, the part and its location, and allows them to perform actions that involve modifying parameters in different ECUs, such as calibrating sensors, configuring operating parameters or replacing and regenerating the DPF, among others. It is also backed by a specialised technical support service and it supports upgrades that will enhance the software's functionality. It is an intuitive visual tool that is quick to install and use, and it comes with a dynamic and practical user guide to ensure that it is just that.
“This tool will undoubtedly ensure that our customers will be able to diagnose their HIMOINSA equipment with greater running time and precision,” explains Javier Escudero, HIMOINSA's Spare Parts Manager, who adds that the tool is supplied with a carrying case to hold cables, a link and a PC, as well as a software licence to access the control interface and carry out maintenance and repair work. “The tool is now available at HIMOINSA and customers can ask the After-Sales and Spare Parts teams for it as of now.”
