Together with our official distributor RMA, HIMOINSA took part in Laos’ biggest international building, construction and M&E exhibition – LaoBuild at the National Convention Centre, 7 – 9 June 2018.
Laos is one of the fastest growing countries in Asia with 6.9% projected economic growth rate in 2017 and 7.0% in 2018. The rapid growth is attributed to the expansion in service sector, electricity generation, agriculture, mining and infrastructures including the multi-billion dollar investment of the Laos-China high speed railway.
It’s a place full of potential and opportunities. This event attracted more than 250 international brands from 18 countries including China, Italy, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam, to showcase their latest technology, innovation, equipment and supplies to thousands of buyers and visitors. Besides the exhibition, organizer conducted a series of seminars and technology symposiums for industrial professionals to study the latest trends and developments.
According to a research from Asian Development Bank, the building and construction sector is a key driver to the Lao’s economy with major projects underway in the recent years. A total registered capital of approximate 8 billion dollars of Lao’s Special Economic Zones set the path for modern urban infrastructures as well.
As the country develops, construction of infrastructures such as roads, bridges, railways are where generators applied the most.
