    Adhering to the green manufacturing concept, Himoinsa gives a boost to Xinyi Glass

    Three Himoinsa HTW-2030 T5 HV units have been put into use as the backup power source at the Wuhu factory of Xinyi Glass, a major glass manufacturer in the global glass industry chain. This would help the glass processing plant to achieve green manufacturing and energy conservation.

As a leading company in the world glass industry, Xinyi Glass's vision is to build green spaces and realize energy conservation via technology. The company aims to create more comfortable living space for human beings through glass products and continuous technological innovations, and hence practice the values of benefiting all people. Similarly, supporting green manufacturing is also the wish of Himoinsa. In the design of the project, the exhaust gas purification device is added to the exhaust pipe of unit, to ensure that emissions of the unit meet relevant government regulations. Also, we have chosen the Mitsubishi engine, which is superior to other products on the market and fully satisfies the environmental protection requirements of the customer.



    In addition to energy saving and emission reduction, reliable power supply is another important reason for customers to favor Himoinsa. The smelting furnace of glass factory production lines generally adopts electric smelting. Multiple pairs of electrodes are immersed in the molten glass, and current flows between the electrodes, causing the Joule effect and thereby generating heat. Once the high-voltage three-phase AC power becomes faulty and the temperature cannot be guaranteed at 350℃, the smelting furnace would be damaged, resulting in serious losses. At this point, the backup power becomes critical. The three HTW-2030 T5 HV units can provide up to 5.4MW of power to maintain the electric heat of the smelting furnace, hence minimizing the possibility of accidents.



    Moreover, in the course of the Wuhu project, our distributors have provided full cooperation in end customer installation. Hoisting was required at the site, but the site space was not large enough. The vehicle assisting the hoisting operation was stuck in the mud pit. The weather was bad as it was raining, plus the poor environment, so there were great difficulties in installation. Our distributor personally directed the hoisting work at the site and even operated the dangerous crane hook. This has won high praise from the customer.


    Xinyi Glass has seven production bases locating in China's most active economic development areas: Pearl River Delta, Yangtze River Delta, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and the western Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Belt. In order to tap overseas markets, Xinyi Glass invested to build a large production base in Malaysia in 2015. On the basis of Wuhu factory cooperation, Himoinsa has established mutual trust with the customer and won the customer's trust in our brand. As a result, Xinyi Glass purchased another five HTW-2295 T5 HV units to be used in the construction of its Malaysian factory.
